Introduction to Selection
The required audio should be stored in a voice chip or external storage device. The MCU controls the playback of the voice chip via I/O port commands, IC, UART, or AT communication methods. Currently, there are three series: WTV, WT2003H, and WT2605. The WTV/WT2003H series belong to the flash series, supporting on-board voice updates (which can be created through our company’s website as .bin files for storage in the voice chip). The WTV series supports 380/890 seconds of audio. The WT2003H series supports 350/900 seconds of audio and can also be expanded with flash/TF card/USB drive, supporting on-board serial port voice updates and USB interface voice updates. The WT2605 series can store approximately 10 seconds of prompt sounds internally, supports expansion with flash/TF card/USB drive, allows copying audio files between different storage devices, and supports seamless loop playback of MP3 audio. There are WT2003H, WTV, WT2000T, and WT2605 series chips, all of which have an audio sampling rate of 8-44.1K and a bitrate of 8-320kbps. Among them, the WT2000T and WT2605 series support stereo channels (dual channels). The WT2003H can drive 8R/0.5W speakers directly and also supports mono hardware DAC output. The WTV can drive 8R/0.5W speakers directly and also supports mono software-simulated DAC output.

Analog USB and external flash versions generally depend on the audio bitrate, and the higher the bitrate, the shorter the storage time.

Micro customized development is required, and there are relatively few such requirements. We have customized development for some clients using the WT2003H+SD card solution. The audio stored in the SD card is encrypted by the upper computer app before playback can be controlled, and the correct audio content cannot be viewed. It needs to be decrypted before viewing.

ISD2360 is a 3-channel digital chip that supports direct drive of 0.95W D-class speakers. There are no completely replaced chips available. Our company’s WTV600 and WT2003H series can be considered. WTV600 can support up to 16 channel mixing and supports direct drive of 8R/0.5W speakers, while WT2003H supports 8-channel mixing and direct drive of 8R/0.5W speakers. It also supports hardware mono DAC output. For dual channel DAC output, our company’s WT2605 series chip can be considered, but it does not support direct drive speakers and requires external amplifier output.
