Product Introduction
The WT2605CX is a powerful high-quality voice chip that employs a high-performance 32-bit processor with a maximum frequency of 240MHz. It features low cost, low power consumption, high reliability, and strong versatility. Currently available is the WT2605CX-32N package chip, which has a compact size of 4x4mm. It supports custom serial communication protocol standards (AT) commands and also offers Bluetooth connectivity for playback functions. The chip supports SPI-Flash, TF cards, and USB drives as storage media. It includes functionalities such as file index playback, insert playback, single track loop, all tracks loop, and random playback. Volume control is adjustable in 32 levels, and it can support up to 128Mbit Flash, 32GB TF card, and 32GB USB drive externally.Product application fields
This sound chip is mainly used for short-range Bluetooth music transmission and can easily connect with the Bluetooth devices of digital products such as laptops, mobile phones, and tablets, enabling wireless music transmission and recording. It is also compatible with Bluetooth stereo headphones, hands-free telephones, car audio systems, car hands-free kits, portable navigation devices, three-wheeled electric vehicle instruments, automotive instruments, fitness equipment, medical devices, Bluetooth speakers, smart home appliances, shared equipment, smart homes, white noise speakers, and white noise headphones.Chip characteristics
- WT2605C is a dual-mode Bluetooth device, supporting both audio Bluetooth and data transmission Bluetooth, with a Bluetooth version of 5.3+BR+EDR+BLE;
- Supports Bluetooth protocols including a2dp, avctp, avdtp, avrcp, hfp, spp, smp, att, gap, gatt, rfcomm, sdp, l2cap;
- Supports Bluetooth audio decoding for SBC and AAC; supports pushing song lyrics and album covers during Bluetooth music playback;
- Supports Bluetooth calls, caller ID display, contact list, and call history push;
- Supports Bluetooth BLE data transmission with a PHY rate of 2 Mbps;
- Supports roles as BLE master, slave, and combined master-slave mode;
- Supports up to 128Mbit SPI-Flash, 32GB TF card, and 32GB USB drive, allowing mutual copying of audio between these peripherals; can update voice chip programs via TF card or USB drive;
- Supports FAT and FAT32 file systems;
- Control method uses AT communication interface with a default baud rate of 115200;
- Powers on without playing by default, with BUSY status indication, high level when BUSY during playback (configurable);
- Audio output method is DAC stereo output;
- Supports high-quality voice audio formats ranging from 8kbps to 320kbps in MP3 and WAV formats;
- Operating voltage range for the chip is 2.8V to 5.0V;
- After powering on, Bluetooth searches for an audio Bluetooth name of BT_WT2605C;
- Bluetooth crystal parameters are 24MHz_9PF, ±10PPM;
- After connecting to a phone via Bluetooth, it displays a Bluetooth battery icon, showing 100% battery percentage at 4.2V or higher;
- Bluetooth connection distance is within 10 meters, refer to the circuit design section below for Bluetooth chip layout;
- Our company’s Bluetooth audio functions mainly consist of two modes: Bluetooth mode and audio mode, defaulting to Bluetooth mode upon power-on, which can be searched and connected via phone Bluetooth; audio mode allows controlling audio playback on Flash, TF card, and USB drive through serial port commands, switching between the two modes using the AT+CHMODE command, detailed command operations are provided below, both modes cannot run simultaneously (i.e., cannot play Bluetooth music while controlling audio playback on Flash/TF card/USB drive);
- In MP3 mode, if both USB drive and TF card are present, it responds to TF card first, then USB drive; supports hot plugging of USB drive and TF card; audio codec supports 16-bit stereo DAC and two channels of 16-bit ADC;
- High-performance stereo with ADC having a signal-to-noise ratio of 90dB;
- Defaults to Bluetooth mode upon power-on, phone search and connection details are provided, after connecting via Bluetooth, the chip TX pin returns BT_STA:6 (6 indicates successful connection), disconnecting Bluetooth automatically returns BT_STA:9 (9 indicates disconnection), detailed command descriptions are provided;
- Important note: if the voice chip needs to hang flash, it is recommended to use “WeiChuang” flash, as other manufacturers’ flash may not guarantee normal operation (recommend marking 150mil and 208mil size compatibility extensions for easier inventory management).
