Download and Replace Voice Files on the Voice Chip
Store the bin file in the online downloader. By connecting the device to the online downloader, you can replace the voice files. This method is convenient, fast, and easy to operate, making it suitable for production or client devices that require frequent voice changes.
1 Create the bin file
2 Store the bin file
After placing the bin file, disconnect the downloader from the computer. When you connect the USB to the computer, a drive letter will appear (format the drive if it’s the first time you’re using it). Save the prepared bin file to this drive letter.
Connect the chip: Configure the microcontroller to release the voice chip by setting the microcontroller’s IO pins connected to the voice chip to either input or floating. Connect the downloader’s programming pins to the corresponding IO pins of the voice chip (DO-PB3, DI-PB1, CLK-PB0, CS-PC2, VCC-VCC, GND-GND). When designing the board, ensure to leave a download port on the board to facilitate the updating of voice files.
Use the “USB Downloader” and manually press the download button to start the process.
