Overview

WT588F02BP-14S and WT588F04AP-14S are high-power voice chip developed by Guangzhou Waytronic Electronics Co., Ltd. Their audio output type is PWM, and they feature an integrated D-class audio power amplifier circuit capable of directly driving a 4-ohm 3W speaker. The output does not require LC filtering to function normally. It reduces EMI interference across the full bandwidth, minimizing impact on other components. Currently, WT588F02BP-14S can store up to 170 seconds of high-quality voice content (if sound quality is not a concern, it can store up to 320 seconds of voice content). WT588F04AP-14S can store up to 370 seconds of high-quality voice content. Unlike traditional voice chips, these models can have their internal voice content updated online using a compatible downloader. They support one-wire and two-wire serial communication interfaces.

  • 10. Flash-based voice chip, both the main control program and Flash data can be rewritten repeatedly.
  • 11. The chip initialization time upon power-up is approximately 200 milliseconds.
  • 12. After the chip finishes playing, and the IO pins (DATA and CLK) maintain a stable level (either high or low) for 1 second, the chip enters sleep mode.
  • 13. The chip includes a Class D audio power amplifier circuit with an efficiency of up to 88%, eliminating the need for filters;
  • 14. Built-in short-circuit protection, overcurrent protection, and overheat protection;
  • 15. Excellent full-bandwidth EMI suppression capability;
  • 16. Excellent ‘power-on/power-off’ noise suppression.
