Product description
WTN6 series OTP voice chip provide 12-bit PWM pure audio output, and have ultra-low power standby. Audio sampling rate up to 32kHz, 16-level volume control, rich control modes, two audio output modes PWM output and DAC output. No external shock is required. In addition, at a sampling rate of 6K, WTN6 series chips can store up to 170s of audio length.
Product features:
- Power supply voltage: 2.4V-5.2V
- Maximum sleep power consumption: 5uA
- Control mode: one-line serial port, two-line serial port, button control
- Output mode: PWM output and DAC output
- Capacity at 6K sampling rate: WTN6006, WTN6020, WTN6040, WTN6080, WTN6170 (the voice lengths at 6KHz sampling rate are 6s, 20s, 40s, 80s, 170s respectively)
- Usually, Waytronic will use the sound source provided by the customer for voice project development. Waytronic has standard voice sound effects or midi sound effects for different scenarios to choose from.

Product advantages:
WTN6 series OTP chips are multi-functional, high-performance, low-power voice chips. The audio sampling rate can reach up to 32kHz, 16-level volume control; the external circuit does not need component support, and can directly drive an 8 ohm 0.5 watt speaker; the chip model can be selected according to different voice duration requirements, and it has multiple trigger methods and output methods. Widely used in toys, electronic locks, doorbells, household appliances and other fields. The following is a schematic diagram of the connection of the one-line serial port control circuit. The MCU can control the WTN6 series chip to play clear and loud sound only through one line of DATA.

The process of product development using WTN6 series chips
- Provide voice files/text;, as well as the required control program, output mode, and other special settings,
- According to the voice file/text, select the corresponding model (memory capacity) according to the voice duration;
- In the audio room of waytronic, the voice file or text content provided by the customer is processed into a suitable format, and the control mode, output mode and other information together with the processed voice are packaged and loaded into the voice chip, and the sound playback is tested.
- Send samples to customers;
- Customers use the test board or test on the PCB made by themselves;
- Customer confirms the sample, mass production.

Product application cases:
We use the following case to illustrate how to use our voice chip to make an electronic lock doorbell:
Requirements: Use Waytronic’s WTN6006-8S-E to develop a voice doorbell, press the button to make a doorbell sound
Required materials:
1 MCU model list:
2 WTN6006-8S-E
3 8 ohm 0.5W Speaker
4 Waytronic’s test tool VSB or customers can design PCBA by themselves according to the schematic diagram
5 3-5V power supply battery or adapter
6 other auxiliary materials
STEPS:
- Waytronic processes the doorbell sound effect selected by the customer and burns it into WTN6006
- Solder the WTN600 to the VSB of Waytronic, or solder the components to the PCBA according to the schematic diagram provided by Waytronic
- Connect the speaker and battery, and test whether the voice playback and control methods are normal
- Connect the electronic lock doorbell PCBA to the speaker to output sound
- Test the function and effect of the entire electronic lock doorbell, adjust the volume and sound quality
- Carry out overall assembly and landscaping. Confirm that the sample is feasible and proceed to mass production.
