Introduction to Upper Computer Operations
Step 1: Open the WT588F web page and either register an account or login. The WT588 web client login URL is: http://wt588f.waytronic.com:8443.
After logging in, open the ‘Voice Production’ menu on the left and select WTR096A, then click Add New Project
Step 2: After clicking Add New Project, select and fill in the project information according to your requirements, then save it. For more details, please refer to the explanation below.
Step 3: Click on the audio file list to add audio. Click the Upload Audio button, find the audio file used for the project along the path, then select and add the audio file, and save it. WAV format requirements: the sampling rate must not exceed 16KHz, mono; MP3 format requirements: the sampling rate must not exceed 24KHz.
Step 4: Click on the address list to add the audio to the corresponding address, then save it, as shown in the image below.
Step 5: Click on ‘Recording Configuration’ to set the recording parameters.
Step 6: Save the settings and click Compile Bin, Download the Bin file, and the entire WTR096A project is now complete.
Download and change to the voice chip
Make bin file
Store the bin file in the online downloader, and connect the device through the online downloader to update the voice. This method is convenient, quick, and simple to operate, suitable for devices that require frequent voice updates, and can be used for production or client device voice replacements.
Store bin files
After storing the bin file, disconnect the downloader from the computer. When connected via USB, a drive letter will appear (format it if it’s the first time using it). Save the prepared bin file to this drive letter. Connect the chip: let the microcontroller release the voice chip by setting the microcontroller’s IO ports connected to the voice chip to input or floating. Connect the downloader’s programming ports to the corresponding IO ports on the voice chip (DO-PB3, DI-PB1, CLK-PB0, CS-PC2, VCC-VCC, GND-GND). When designing the board, leave a download port on the board for convenient voice updates. When using the ‘USB Downloader,’ you need to manually press the download button.
Download judgment
POWER: Power indicator light, DOWN: Copying indicator light, OK: Copy successful indicator light, NG: Copy failure indicator light.
The power indicator light is always on, indicating that the product is in working condition.
Copying indicator light: Normally off, blinking during the copying process, and off after copying is complete.
Copy successful indicator light: Normally off, continuously on when the copy is successful.
Copy failure indicator light: Normally off, continuously on when the copy fails.
